Usually there's an actual prize.

Duelist Kingdom was millions of dollars and the title King of Duelists.

Battle City was "As Many Rare Cards as you want and Bragging Rights".

Kaiba Corp Grand Prix was the honor of fightin' Yugi Muto.

Genex was braggin' rights.

Varsity Tournament just ended in a guy and his robot clone fighting a cat.

R-Genex was some sorta kinda cash prize and Pro League contract. Which the winner said fuck that to.

WRGP had what as a prize? Giant fuckin' death cities from the sky.

I'm sure it had a prize. Even though I can't.

Because duelists are junkies and unique cards are crack. Thought you knew that.
