Jinn is at a small table at a cafe.

He seems to be reading a book on logic and reasoning.

Standing on the table is the Sonic Chick he was previously chasing. Wearing a tiny mortar board, with a stick in it's mouth. There's a stack of similarly cerebral books, too.

Jinn pauses to rub his eyes, and the Sonic Chick smacks him with the stick. He begins to shake the chick, which squawks at him in anger, as he yells back at it.

"....do I even have to read this, where the hell did he even find you, you overgrown canary..."

It continues as such.

He drops the bird, which acts very offended.

"....weird." [She flicks the Chick's beak.] "So what're you doing with it?"

"It's making me read the books I just got. Apparently it's done taking my wallet or keys."

[naturalcure]

"Wow." [She turns her head.] "Hey! One Blue-Eyes Mountain!"

"..." [She looks back to Jinn.] "So what're you gonna do with it? I hear they're doing great things with deep fat fryers right now."

The chick reaches into it's collar, and pulls out a note, shaking it to unfold. It reads DO NOT EAT.

"..That's out, I think."

"Hey, he just hatched like five minutes ago. I've been your friend for the past three years. Who're you gonna trust?"

"I'd trust you, but I don't trust this bird to not take my wallet with him, or something."

"...I guess that's a good point." [She sighs, rubbing her head.] "I'm not havin' much luck finding that thing you told me to find."
